About the role

We’re seeking a People and Culture Systems Optimisation Lead to support our People and Culture (P&C) function in enhancing our systems, with a focus on the delivery of our people services and experience. In this role you will drive opportunities to continuously simplify, enhance and automate key people processes, collaborating with Platform Support teams to develop solutions that deliver value to users and to the organisation.

Day-to-day, you will:

- Collaborate with P&C Portfolio Leads to understand priorities and provide guidance to maximise our existing technology platforms (Workday and ServiceNow)
- Work with P&C Portfolio Leads and Platform Support teams to identify and prioritise system enhancements, driving business value, people experience, and efficiency
- Oversee the execution of P&C’s systems roadmap and prioritise product backlog items, ensuring business requirements are clearly articulated
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of all enhancement documentation, including requirements gathering and on and off system processes
- Maintain a holistic end to end view of process changes and manage change impacts along the way
- Ensure data integrity, security and legislative compliance is maintained within P&C systems
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication between P&C and Platform Support teams as well as managing relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Act as an ambassador for People and Culture and be the primary contact for queries related to P&C systems

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

- Demonstrated working experience as a Product Owner or something similar
- Experience working with a People and Culture/Human Resources function with a working knowledge of People and Culture processes
- Demonstrated experience in system implementation, configuration and maintenance, with Workday and ServiceNow experience preferred
- Experience in end-to-end systems management, process reviews, process mapping, holding workshops, running stand-ups etc
- Experience in managing product roadmaps with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- An inquisitive mindset, you’ll be curious and know how to break down problems to investigate their root cause
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, team members and external vendors
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes in a collaborative manner
