Lead the delivery and administrations of HRM Systems
- Experience with Power BI Essential
- REM (LG - Band 7) range approx. $101K - $113K + Super (dep. on experience)
PSP are exclusively recruiting this People and Culture Band 7 position on behalf of the City of Port Phillip. Reporting directly to the Recruitment and Employee Experience Lead, the role sits within the People, Culture and Experience Department, in the Governance, Capability and Experience Division. The positions key objectives include:
- Lead and implement both ‘day to day’ and longer-term strategic activities relating to the maintenance, administration, improvement and review of People, Culture and Safety HRM systems
- Lead systems and workflow reviews for all HR processes to develop to achieve consistency, compliance and operational effectiveness
- Lead the delivery of corporate reporting and analysis of all People, Culture and Safety related data, including Workforce Profile, Position Management and HR metrics as per agreed schedules and on an adhoc basis where appropriate
- Provide comprehensive HR system and analytics advice, reporting, and analysis to the People, Culture and Safety Leadership Team.
- Maintain and develop the organisation’s Employee Self Service facility to optimise online access and functionality for employees
- Attend User Group meetings, and implement system updates in consultation the provider to maintain currency of the current Human Resource Management system
- Develop and implement enhancements and automation to HR administration processes, data integrity and record management
- Develop and implement appropriate documentation (including forms, templates, communications, reports) to support policies, processes and procedures and end user

- Lead and develop a small high performing team; setting clear work priorities, monitoring performance, developing and providing ongoing feedback.
- Provide high level systems support to other areas of the organisation who leverage the HRM system and workforce data to manage functions covering payroll, finance, and Information Technology managed systems.
Essential Skills and Experience required:
- Experience working within HR/People and Culture Systems
- Experience working with PowerBi & Aurion
- Qualifications relevant to role experience
- Previous Local Government experience is desirable.
- Covid Vaccinations certificate or valid medical exemption, and probity checks will be required.
REM (LG - Band 7) range approx. $101K - $113K + Super (dep. on experience). Shortlisting for the role will take place ideally during the first week of May.
