Direct reports: 1 x Carpenter, 1 x Apprentice Carpenters

**Job Summary**:

You will be working in a team environment of 2 - 3 people on any given job and additional trades onsite.

**Key Objective and Accountabilities**:
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

Monitor attendance of staff on your projects

Allocate general and daily responsibilities

Supervise and train all direct reports and tradespeople

Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

Monitor Scope of works and Program and report on progress to Project Managers

Identify and Resolve issues as they arise and report to Project Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 6 years experience as a qualified carpenter
- High energy, clear goal orientation, and strong work ethic
- Motivated to grow and an enthusiasm for work
- Align to the organisations culture and values
- Display good personal relationship skills
- Unquestioned reputation for honesty and integrity
- Team player
- Math Skills: Carpenters employ mathematical principles when carrying out construction layouts and taking measurement of materials
- Mechanical Skills: Carpenters are proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of tools

**KPI's**:

- OH&S issues on your sites are resolved immediately and documented to management within 24 hours
- Check and reply to “messages” and “To Do’s” everyday
- Complete ‘Site Diary’ for all your jobs everyday
- Communicate labour requirements for the following week to the Managing Director every week prior to the Friday morning meeting
- Projects are on schedule at the end of every month
- Identify one site inefficiency every quarter
- Identify variations and ensure they are logged and approved by the Project Manager before work is undertaken
- Report to the appropriate Project manager for each job

**Required**:

- White Card
- Drivers License
- First Aid preferable
- Certificate 3 Carpentry
- Full working rights in Australia
