If you thrive in a **dynamic**, **fast-paced** environment and are eager to take your skills to the next level, we want to hear from you **Roles & Responsibilities** - Perform daily baking, production, and preparation of bakery products to established standards - Maintain food quality and consistency across all products - Follow recipes and production schedules to meet daily output goals - Manage resources efficiently to ensure high-quality production while minimising waste - Ensure the bakery is maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation - Follow all health and safety regulations, keeping the kitchen a safe, clean environment for all - Proactively identify ways to reduce waste and utilize seasonal produce - Maintain and clean bakery equipment according to proper sanitation standards - 2+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or Chef - A strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude - Relevant commercial cooking or pastry qualifications (or equivalent experience) - Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment - The ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards - Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach - NSW FSS (Food Safety Supervisor) Certificate **Why Join Us?** - Professional development in a leading industry venue - Work in a vibrant, state-of-the-art environment with a passionate team - Be part of a growing brand with opportunities for career advancement **Most Importantly**: - Bring a fun, positive attitude to work at Sydney's best cookie shop Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount - Free drinks - Free food - Professional development assistance Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Morning shift - Public holidays - Rotating roster - Weekend availability Supplementary Pay: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Manly, NSW 2095: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Baker: 1 year (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
