**About the Role**

An outstanding opportunity currently exists for a procurement professional with strong skills and experience in strategic sourcing and category management to join our JBS Australia Group Procurement Team. With experience in Services and Indirect Materials procurement, this role will be pivotal in partnering with our business to deliver optimal procurement outcomes.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager - Services & Indirect Materials, this role requires a self-driven and ambitious individual who is used to working in a dynamic environment with diverse teams to deliver results. Your passion for procurement, coupled with your continuous improvement mindset and collaborative approach will support your ongoing success in this role.
- Drive end-to-end sourcing processes for responsible spend category(ies)
- Proactively identify procurement initiatives through spend, market, category and supply risk analysis
- Develop and implement strategies for responsible spend category(ies) leveraging a structured approach to strategic sourcing and category management
- Ensure business engagement through proactive collaboration and communication with key stakeholders
- Support and/or drive local, regional and global procurement teams on key projects
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support improvement in the areas of procure-to-pay (P2P) and inventory management through collaboration with key suppliers
- Support business planning and forecasting activities

**About You**
- Proven track record of delivering results in procurement
- CIPSA and/or APICS qualifications viewed favourably
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline desirable, though not required
- Experience with SAP
- Good understanding of the value chain in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong negotiation, analytical skills, problem solving and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must have work rights in Australia
