**What’s the opportunity?**
Reporting to the General Manager - Energy Operations your key focus will be engage with the business in order to understand business requirements and then translate these into functional requirements for delivery.
This will involve working with the broader business team to identify, recommend and implement opportunities to improve and align supporting customer processes, systems and improvement initiatives.
**What's the Opportunity?**
- Meet with various business stakeholders and translate their high-level requests into detailed business requirements
- Analyse Energy industry documents to ensure systems and processes meet regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Analysis of operational trends, root cause identification, solution development and delivery
- Ensure maximum benefit is achieved with projects and initiatives that are undertaken. Balancing process/functionality, user experience and system architecture to match desired business outcomes and timeframes.
- Develop test scripts and undertake/facilitate end user testing.
- Maintain a high level of engagement with multiple stakeholders from business managers to developers and IT teams to ensure that projects and initiatives are tracked and managed to completion.
- Owning, leading and delivering new and continuous improvement initiatives to expected time frames and quality levels
**_Skills and experience you will ideally bring to the table:_**
- Demonstrated experience in a consulting or business analyst role with proven experience in delivering business/process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proven ability in software implementation projects and the software development lifecycle.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with experience in writing process and system business requirements.
- Problem solving capabilities and the ability to take initiative will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Electricity and Gas industry would be an advantage
