At Viva Energy, we are the exclusive Shell licensee in Australia, and supply around a quarter of Australia’s fuel through our network of around 1345 service stations and through our commercial partnerships with some of Australia’s biggest companies.
We currently have an opportunity for a **Shipping Analyst** to join our Supply Operations team.
Based at our Head Office in Docklands, Melbourne, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day shipping activities and driving shipping performance analysis.
The Shipping Analyst will:
- Work closely with the Supply Schedulers on a daily basis to update the fuel import requirements for Viva Energy.
- Lead and coordinate the vessel clearance process with key stakeholders.
- Monitor, track and analyse shipping performance and costs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform demurrage analysis and negotiate claims.
- Review, challenge, negotiate costs and process supplier invoices.
- Have opportunity to provide leave cover for Supply Schedulers.

**About you**:
- Ideally Tertiary qualified (Business, Logistics / Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance / Commerce).
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Possess clear verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail, well organised and comfortable with managing data.
- Effective collaborator skilled in stakeholder engagement.
If you have a passion for working in Supply Chain and love working with people, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled analyst. We are looking for a fast learner who holds a healthy proficiency in Excel (able to work with large amounts of data). Those with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn/grow will excel in this role.
