**About the opportunity**

As our **Postal Transport Coordinator**, you will manage the operations of a shift including work scheduling, resource allocation, staff management and customer relationships.

**You**'ll also**
- Allocate vehicles in accordance with defined schedules.
- Coordinate additional customer pick ups, stock and ULD deliveries.
- Ensure recovery activities are initiated in the event of breakdowns, accidents or other events, which impact on service
- Oversee afternoon van services.
- Pro-actively identify and report opportunities for improved customer service.
- Ability to maintain and input data into transport system data bases, and provide reports.
- Deal with breaches to Australia Post policies, procedures and behavioural issues as they occur.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the seam less flow of transport.

- Ability to build and maintain co-operative relationships with customers.
- Available to work every second Saturday from 7am
- 12 pm
- Well developed problem solving skills and the ability to resolve workplace conflicts.
- Ability to influence and facilitate change.
- Ability to building effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the proven ability to effectively manage and develop people and teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of transport operations management.
- Self Awareness & Continuous Learning.
- Well developed oral and written communications skills.
