**About the role**
We’re seeking a **proactive**, **detail-oriented **individual to join our collaborative Corporate Services team here at The Benevolent Society As the Manager of Fleet Services, you’ll provide **efficient** and **effective** fleet services to support The Benevolent Society in achieving its goals and delivering great outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you’ll be a key player in The Benevolent Society’s delivery of services, providing cost-effective quality goods and services within the supply-chain.
**Duties**
- ** Establish** a catalogue of commercial fleet vehicle products and services throughout the supply chain to meet the unique and growing needs of the organisation.
- ** Manage** the nominated outsourced fleet provider to achieve agreed standards of service, customer care and safe and sustainable products aligned with the contract.
- ** Design**, **implement** and manage contracts, e-Procurement fleet systems and processes, policies, procedures, guides, tools, forms and reporting requirements with support and direction from the Director Corporate Services.
- Manage internal and external fleet related enquiries and escalations of issues.
- Be proactive in **identifying** and implementing cost savings in the supply chain by optimising fleet usage and redeployment of assets

**Skills and experience**
**We want you to be successful in your new role This means you’ll have**:
- At least **5 years’ experience** managing a large fleet covering outsourced fleet providers, leased and owned vehicles
- Prior **experience** in the **not-for-profit sector** and degree level business qualifications (extensive experience will be considered in lieu of educational qualifications).
- Demonstrated **professionalism, integrity **and** respect** in all business dealings on behalf of the organisation.
- ** Experience** working in a corporate services function to deliver the highest standards of governance as well as an understanding of procurement processes: e-Procurement, Tendering, Contract Development, Supplier Relationship Management, Purchasing, Negotiation and Customer Service.
- A **strong technical understanding** of the fleet industry supported by market insight into how changes can impact business objectives
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport and good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
