**Role Details**: This is a part time position (8 day fortnight flexible can be discussed during interview process. We are seeking a well-organised, positive, and energetic person to train and mentor family day care educators providing Education and Care in a home-based childcare environment.

**Family Day Care Coordinators are responsible for**:
Providing professional support and training to Educators.

Ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes to children and families enrolled in the service

Monitoring compliance with National law and Regulations and Service policies

Training educator according to training calendar that will be provided

Conducting visits to ensure educators are meeting regulatory requirements.

Monitoring visits that are announced and spot checks to ensure compliance is met at all times.

**Essential Criteria of a Family Day Care Coordinator**:
Diploma of Children’s Services or appropriate tertiary qualifications in child development.

Valid Blue Card

Current police check (willing to obtain)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in children's services, offering programs for children 0 - 12 years

Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations & Learning FrameworkStrong documentation, organisational & communication skills

Child Protection Training

Excellent interpersonal skills

Write & manage quality improvement plans

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to inclusion and ethical practice

Computer proficiency in Microsoft programs

Ability to facilitate networking meetings and deliver training to small groups

Ability to show understanding of working with CALD parents, educators and community.

You will ensure that the educational programs delivered by our FDC Educators are engaging and enhance children’s development and learning as outlined in the National Quality Framework.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $58,280.11 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week
