We're on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Team Leader to head up our Bending department at B&R Enclosures. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and the drive to lead by example.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you'll coordinate daily operations across the bending section, ensuring your team hits production targets while maintaining high standards in quality and safety.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee bending operations (press brake & sheet metal forming)
  • Lead and support a team of operators and apprentices
  • Monitor workflow, prioritise jobs, and ensure DIFOT targets are met
  • Train team members and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Production Coordinators, Quality, and Maintenance teams
What We're Looking For

We want someone who knows the floor and can lead from it:

  • Proven experience in sheet metal bending/press brake operation
  • Strong understanding of quality control, safety, and lean practices
  • Ability to read technical drawings and allocate jobs accordingly

  • Good communication and team-building skills

  • Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)

  • Overtime available depending on workload
