**Job description**:
The role will contribute to the ongoing organisation and development of Change Futures through supporting the HR Administration activities. This position will also be responsible for providing other support to facilitate organisational growth.
This role is initially for 12-hours per week (approximately 3-hours per day across Tuesday to Friday). Additional ongoing hours may be added depending on the responsibilities of the position. This role would suit someone interested in flexible hours (i.e. school hours) or working from home. Initial training will be provided on-site.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Undertake recruitment processes to attract potential interns and staff as needed to support the service delivery of the organisation, in consultation with senior leadership.
- Place advertisements across relevant advertising platforms and coordinate with managers to pass on applicant details, and support the selection process as required.
- Respond to vacant role enquiries as required.
- Process new employee contracts and contract variations in consultation with managers.
- Monitor employee probation and end of contract dates, and provide this information to managers as needed.
- Maintain up to date and accurate remuneration information, and provide this to new and existing employees (and subcontractors) as required.
- Provide support to managers during new employee induction as required.
- Conduct administrative processes around employee exiting.
- Maintain an accurate record of employee information (i.e. headcount and other data metrics).
- Maintain a database for licensing, accreditation, insurances, criminal history checks etc.
- Monitor employee turnover information.
- Maintain a register of employee birthdays, milestones, start dates, and end dates, and communicate this information to staff.
- Provide information to employees on relevant organisational policies and procedures.
- Undertake special projects and administrative responsibilities as required.
- Attend staff meetings and supervision as required in consultation with the Executive Director.
**About you**:
- A fast learner, with strong attention to detail

- Strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational skills, including a good ability to plan and follow through on tasks
- Ability to build rapport and connection with others
- Demonstrated professional integrity with respect to confidentiality, professional propriety and privacy
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team.
**Other requirements**:
- A background and previous experience in HR administration is essential
- A tertiary qualification, preferrably in the area of business administration or HR administration
- Available to work across the week, with availability to add additional hours as needed
- Strong system management skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems and software
- Criminal history check
- Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screener Clearance may be required.
