We're looking for a **National Asset Manager** who will report to National Sales Manager based in Clayton, Victoria. You will deal with daily and long-term strategic management of PPG assets across the Architectural Coatings ANZ business.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with and draw up contracts for services and equipment from external suppliers including purchasing, delivery and instillation ensuring cost efficiencies.
- In liaison with procurement, manage contract negotiations between PPG and suppliers.
- Manage placement, removal, transfer, changeover, maintenance and repairs of all store and customer site-based PPG assets (tint equipment, colour walls and semi-permanent POS)
- Manage spare parts.
- Record management with finance team for any proposed or actual assets movement (acquisitions, transfers, valuations, or disposals)
- Manage and conduct an asset audit schedule that ensures all assets are audited, assessed, and accounted for at a minimum every 2 years.
- Manage storage of non-allocated assets and include in audits.
- Ensure all assets are serviceable and suitable for purpose.
- Manage asset upgrades and changeovers.
- Coordinate training on equipment use and maintenance.
- Develop equipment performance reviews: Sales Return per Asset and Optimised location
- Develop reports on assets.
- Prepare asset development plans to ensure that PPG assets continue to deliver the best in store service and efficiency.
- Prepare asset plans that provide medium/long-term projections of capital investment and ongoing maintenance/placement costs.
- Raise purchase orders and initiate requests for material codes.
- With finance, build and present ACTs for asset purchases.
- Monthly meeting with finance to review asset status, issues, and capital expenditure.
- Establish a SOP for the position.
- Implement necessary forms for managing the management of assets.

**New Stores and Store Refits**

Help with:

- Asset orders, placement, and training of customer staff on equipment and stock
- Stock/POS order, delivery, and merchandising,
- Coordinate communication between Bunnings, PPG HO, Independents and Company Owned Stores and the field.
- Build relationships with other teams and external agencies and regular field visits
- Maintain company procedures while performing role following PPG corporate values and promoting a safe work environment.

**Qualifications**
- 1+ years’ experience in asset management or retail store operations
- Experience managing important projects, develop budgets and secure cost savings through the creation and implementation of vendor and asset management strategies.
- Intermediate skills with MS Word, Access, Excel, Power point, Outlook.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent platform.
