About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Category Manager - Logistics to join our Procurement team in Enfield, NSW.
Reporting to the Head of Transformational Change & Procurement, in this role you will lead the development and delivery of MAURI procurement across logistics, with a focus on outbound distribution.

**Here's what you will be doing**:

- Acting as the category lead for MAURI outbound logistics, with strong collaboration with other Warehousing & Distribution category leads across GWF
- Setting and delivering stretch targets for outbound distribution and related logistics categories
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives for MAURI warehouse and distribution.
- Building strong stakeholder engagement & aligning on opportunities, category strategies & approach around negotiations
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment that builds a positive safety culture
- Travelling as required within Australia to connect with team members and suppliers

About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate quality experience in warehousing and/or distribution, in commercial, operational or procurement roles. A degree or equivalent qualification in a Business or Finance related field is highly desirable.

**We will also be looking for**:

- Membership of CIPSA (ideally MCIPS through study/qualification) is desirable but not essential
- Experience of deploying best practice procurement tools, techniques and processes with people both directly and indirectly engaged in procurement activity
- Ability to simplify and influence through excellent communication at all levels
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues
- Experience with process improvement and change management
