**About the opportunity**

We are currently seeking an efficient Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher, Monday to Friday 8am to 1pm, to join the Food Services Team at our **Moran Kellyville home**.

You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Moran offers a rewarding work environment consisting of modern facilities and equipment and supports individuals to further develop their skills.

**About the Role**
- Plating food at mealtimes
- Preparing food under the direction of Chef
- Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
- Restocking supplies and receive goods
- Recording temperatures, complete checklists
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards
- Working as a member of the Food Services teams
- Washing and preparing the vegetables needed for cooking.
- Supporting the Chef and Food Services Assistants with any extra prep in the kitchen.
- In-charge of washing and cleaning all the utensils, pots, pans etc and promoting a clean and safe environment at all times.

**About you**:

- Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- A person who takes pride in what they do
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
- Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
