THE ROLE
**Are you**:

- a collaborative personality who can influence, partner and negotiate with key stakeholders within government and the sector in order to drive forward key government reforms
- excited by organising and strategically leading projects from policy to delivery
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead projects to deliver Homes Victoria's mental health supported housing reforms. The overall work of the team is focused on delivering on the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System's Recommendation 25. This includes designing and implementing the delivery strategy for achieving the Mental Health cohort targets in the Big Housing Build and working to implement comprehensive co-design initiatives. Other key projects include introduction of a ‘priority access' category for people living with mental illness and ensuring an appropriate evaluation framework is in place to support implementation. You will have excellent stakeholder management, problem solving and communication skills, and demonstrable experience in being an effective people manager as the role will manage some team members.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
1. Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Leading research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Managing and overseeing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
2. Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex policy and sensitive issues.
