Insights Analyst

We're looking for an Insights Analyst to be part of Think HQ's growing insights arm.

You'll work on research and insights projects that inform our creative, communications and engagement campaigns - all aimed at finding solutions for Australia's social issues.

If you’re a strong research all rounder who can design and execute research and has a passion for digging into data to unearth actionable insights, then we’d love to talk to you.

You will be a key team member of the busy Strategy and Insights team working at a fast pace to deliver insights for proposals and campaigns as well as keeping a number of qualitative and quantitative research projects on track.

The Insights Analyst brings vital expertise to Think HQ’s evidence-based approach to designing inclusive communication and creative campaigns that drive positive impact for people and places. Our clients rely on us to help them understand diverse audiences, the forces shaping their experiences and how best to engage them.

**Responsibilities**:
**What you'll be doing in this role**:

- Use data sources and tools such as the Census and Roy Morgan to provide audience and issues analysis.
- Design and execute research qualitative and quantitative projects combining a range of appropriate methodologies from surveying to interviewing, focus groups and online methods.
- Design and provide advice on campaign benchmarking and evaluation programs.
- Conduct data analysis for quantitative research projects.
- Visualise data and insights to develop compelling presentations to communicate key insights to internal teams and clients.
- Keep up-to-date new and emerging methods relating to quantitative and qualitative research, evaluation and measurement.
- Creating and maintaining research and recruitment processes and documentation, which comply with ISO standards.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a research field
- Sound knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience of / interest in innovative online research platforms
- Skilled in SPSS and/or R software
- Ability to translate and visualise data and evidence into insights for non-technical audiences
- Project management skills
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with a team and accept feedback in a positive manner.

**Your qualifications**

Essential: Undergraduate studies in psychology, research, business, social sciences, economics, or statistics, with relevant experience.
