About the Role:
You will have responsibility for the following though not restricted to:
Cleaning operations including the review of cleaning areas, rostering, timesheets and supervision of cleaning staff
Grounds and maintenance including coordinating and prioritising work, rostering and supervision of grounds staff
Liaising with external contractors, including management of Work Area Access Permits (WAAP) for all contractors on school grounds
Prioritising, scheduling and managing maintenance activities and ensuring a safe and high standard learning environment for students and staff
Conducting inspections to ensure building and facilities comply with all security and safety requirements for all users
Procurement activities relating to minor works and maintenance, furniture and fittings
Supporting capital works projects and arranging, coordinating and monitoring minor works

Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate a team of Cleaners and Schools/Grounds Officers ensuring delivery of a high standard of facilities and asset management in a large complex environment
Demonstrated ability to arrange and coordinate minor capital works projects with external contractors to ensure accountability for school maintenance, facilities management, asset maintenance and a high standard of upkeep of buildings and grounds.
Demonstrated prioritisation and organisational skills and the ability to multi-task, with a personal accountability for accomplishing objectives and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain respectful and productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
