RPS is seeking a **Finance Business Partner** to take on an exciting and highly visible opportunity. The role sits in the Finance Business Partnering team reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager. The role will have accountability for the delivery of financial and commercial support directly to the divisional Executive Director and be an important part of their divisional team.

**Key responsibilities**
- Partnering with divisional executives and general managers, providing financial & commercial support as required
- Preparing, reviewing and delivering weekly & monthly reporting, including regular and adhoc analysis & commentary
- Providing commercial support for tender/project opportunities in conjunction with operational and head office finance staff.
- Proactively reviewing performance and engaging with stakeholders to identify and action opportunities
- Preparing budgets & forecasts
- Contribute to and drive various Finance projects and initiatives
- Proactively deal with various stakeholder to manage WIP and Debtors
- Undertake the continual review and improvement of procedures and internal controls.
- Assisting external accounting firms in their auditing requirements.

**Qualifications required**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar commercial/finance role
- CPA or CA qualified
- Experience in managing staff
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Experience in D365 & PowerBI advantageous, although not essential
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and deal with a high volume of work in a tight deadline environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior work ethic along with the capability to build and maintain positive relationships with the team
- Preferred location Brisbane but will consider applicants in Melbourne or Sydney
