**In this role, you'll**:
Join our high performing Network Solutions Development team, where you will lead the development of multi-modal road and road safety network projects, traffic and transport impact assessments while ensuring optimum performance and integration for Sydney’s arterial road and active transport networks.

You will address the specific, integrated needs of freight, road based public transport, pedestrians, cyclists and light vehicles. You will proactively collaborate and interface with Sydney Integration teams and other relevant stakeholders and utilise network performance benchmarks and KPI’s to enable appropriate, evidence-based decision making and to suit the evolving needs of the community.

You will also be involved in:

- Guiding the assessment and selection of project nominations and proposals to ensure the optimum solutions are fully developed to meet the objectives of integrated road transport management.
- Monitoring and promoting best practice to ensure projects are delivered with mínimal impacts on traffic flows and are in the intended scope, budget and timeframe.
- Participating in community consultation including representing Transport for NSW at major planning and project meetings as it relates to transport issues and/or traffic and safety programs to ensure customer engagement in the decision-making process.
- Providing feedback accordingly in relation to programs and projects for media and ministerial enquiries and community response

This is a temporary, full time position up to February 2026, and offers hybrid working from our Parramatta office, or other office locations throughout Sydney upon negotiation.

**About you**
You have tertiary qualifications in civil or traffic engineering or demonstrated extensive relevant experience in a similar role. You are a strategic thinker with strong negotiation and communication skills, and the confidence to formulate ideas and make decisions based on business priorities.

You are experienced in the investigation and development of complex traffic, safety and congestion projects. Additionally, you’ll have experience executing and managing the development of projects and plans, while delivering to tight deadlines.

Your genuine interest in supporting and coaching others within a close-knit team will be highly regarded, as you will have the opportunity to mentor others as a senior member of the team.
