**Network Engineers - make your mark in a dynamic environment**

Are you an early or mid-career network engineer, looking to make your mark in supporting the delivery and operation of significant new City assets that rely on next-generation networking?

We are looking for someone who is a team player, is adaptable and has the skills necessary to help our team design, deploy and operate our next generation of data networks (datacentre and campus wired, wireless and WAN) in our rapidly-expanding facilities over the next two years.

We offer flexible working arrangements and great working conditions for this **two-year fixed-term** staff position.

**About the role**

This position is responsible for supporting the operation and deployment of our ICT network as well as providing technical expertise on network design.

In this role you will:

- Monitor and manage our switches, firewalls and wireless network
- Provide second-level support regarding any network operational issues
- Provide input to architectures and designs for our data network

**About You**

It would be preferred but not essential for applicants to have relevant experience and qualifications in administration and architecture with the following platforms
- Cisco (switches, wireless management and access points)
- Palo Alto Networks (next-gen firewalls)
- Microsoft Windows Server (AD, security services, network access control)
- Cloud-platform networking (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, ORACLE Cloud)

**What’s on offer**:
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $120,384 to $132,568 (inclusive of superannuation)
