To help us achieve this mission and support our high demand, we are seeking a Procurement Manager to support our supply chain sourcing and manufacturing procurement activities.

**What this role will be responsible for**:

- Reducing our hardware BOM cost by researching and sourcing components optimised for supply and price, managing negotiations with suppliers and seeking attractive financing terms.
- Project management of the sourcing of components including identifying suppliers, monitoring suppliers for pricing changes and stock availability, and coordinating the purchasing and payment schedules of stock in partnership with finance.
- Supplier relationship management ensuring key contact details are up to date and you are the key point person for account enquiries and reporting.
- Maintain records of inventory levels, ordering timeframes, and delivery dates to ensure manufacturing and sales teams are kept up to date on supply to meet demand and we act proactively as a business to source stock.
- Support with project management and negotiations / logistics relating to outsourcing assembly and contract manufacturing.
- In conjunction with Finance, managing accounting and record keeping to understand spends per month on supply and stock holdings

**Your background to succeed in this role**:
We are open to a range of experience levels in this role and adapting needs and responsibilities to your level. A recent electronics engineer grad with some practical work experience could be great, or someone who has built themselves a career in supply chain or procurement management.

Skills and attributes that we would be looking for experience and passion in are;.
- Background in electronics engineering and/or technical administration
- Experience and knowledge in global supply chains and logistics
- Highly organised and strong project management skills to manage multiple tasks/projects at once
- Great interpersonal skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders across the company.
- Proactivity and appetite to roll up sleeves and solve problems with actionable solutions.
- Ability and hunger to work in a fast paced, growth environment
- Great if you have experience working with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers.

**Nice to haves**:

- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese
- Experience with supply chain ERP software
- Experience with manufacturer contract negotiation
- Experience with import & export customs/tariffs
