A leading **Federal Government Department** are looking to engage an experienced **Interaction Designer** to join their multi-disciplinary team working closely with User Researchers, Solution Architects and Content Designers. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney or remotely. You will be responsible for improving the departments design features so that they are easy to understand and access. The successful **Interaction Designer **will secure a **12-month** contract with a **6-month extension.**

The successful **Interaction Designer **will have experience in the following:

- Experience in Interaction Design for web-based products and services complemented by knowledge of Visual Design and Accessibility
- Ability to design for Usability Testing at varying levels and demonstrated experience with Figma or Sketch
- Experience working with User Researchers and incorporating user research and service design techniques
- Knowledge in accessibility and designing to WCAG standards
