Overview

Federal Government | Initial 12-month contract | Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra

We are seeking an APS6 Interaction Designer to work for a federal government agency on an initial 12-month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage the visual aspects of marketing and communications materials for all digital channels, websites and other media, including infographics.
  • Work closely with communications teams to understand and develop briefs, and to produce high quality marketing and communications assets that align with brand identities and strategic objectives.
  • Provide specialist creative advice and guidance to support all communication plans and initiatives.
  • Develop concepts and designs for a variety of projects and produce and evolve brand identities and visual guides, ensuring that all design work adheres to style guidelines and standards.
  • Establish and maintain systems for storage of finished art and asset libraries and ensure that all design files are organised and accessible.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with stakeholders about the benefits of each option; review and provide feedback on the design work of other graphic designers to ensure that all digital design work is delivered on time.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Australian citizen required to be considered for this opportunity.
Location and Working Arrangements

You can work from the Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra office with very flexible hybrid working arrangements (1-2 days per week in office).
