**Your Role**
Reporting to the Head of Reinsurance and be responsible for contribution to and delivery of a number of the operational, strategic and reinsurance management objectives. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Management of the operational components of reinsurance team functions, ie, Premiums, accounts and finance, claims management, contract wordings.
- Support throughout the reinsurance placement and renewal cycle, including information management and data collation.
- Assist with the preparation of key management and regulatory reports, including: APRA, Board and Management, in addition to rating agency and shareholder reporting.
- Support broader team functions including placement strategy, Budget and reforecasting, catastrophe modelling and programme maintenance

**Your knowledge & experience**
- Reinsurance specific experience (3-5 years minimum) or experience in related insurance roles; i.e. claims, underwriting, or broking with an insurer, reinsurer or broking firm.
- Have knowledge of key regulatory, capital and rating regimes and corporate financial concepts, and an understanding of the reinsurance function of an insurance company.
- Successful management of workload with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes in a professional manner.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong communication skills.
