**What’s on offer?**

Reporting to the General Manager Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the sales and operations planning process to ensure it aligns with Huon’s growth and financial objectives.

**The role**

Working full-time Monday to Friday you will:

- Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and fostering internal growth and succession planning.
- Set strategy for forecast accuracy benchmarks, balancing customer demand with operational capacity, and conducting monthly reviews to adjust for changes in demand or supply.
- Manage supply chain coordination and export processes, ensuring 100% compliance with documentation requirements (e.g., certificates of origin, health certificates).
- Negotiate and maintain competitive service agreements with freight and carrier stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Huon’s business objectives, and conducting quarterly performance reviews to adjust terms as needed.

**About you**
- You have proven experience or tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Transport & Distribution, or Operations Management (S&OP) or related fields, emphasising operations efficiency and tactical execution.
- You have experience managing large-scale logistics projects, ensuring they stay within scope, budget, and timelines while identifying and mitigating risks.
- You have strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire, develop, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong business acumen and the ability to work independently.
- Proven skills in strategic stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation and continuously improve processes.
