Quality Assurance Officer

- The role

Facilitate and carry out on the floor QA verification activities and assist with continuous improvement for YouFoodz

What you’ll do
- Monitor the verification activities of the Quality Controllers, including daily CCP audits, to ensure food safety and quality process requirements are met, and to highlight and address issues real time including raising corrective action reports for CCP breaches with QA officer - Systems and Continuous Improvement
- Oversee general plant GMP and carry out GMP inspections and to ensure staff and facilities are compliant with the GMP policy at all times
- Carry out pre-operational checks post-cleaning to ensure cleaning has been effective
- Raise corrective actions where major deviations from processes and procedures occur
- Ensure issues are addressed real time, where possible
- Report issues to Quality Manager daily through Handover Reports
- Carry out handover discussions with QC Officer on following shift
- Carry out training with production and packing staff as required
- Carry out other verification activities (including internal audits) as required
- Any other role as directed by management
