An exciting opportunity exists for a Implementation Manager on a fixed-term basis in the Aboriginal Strategy Unit
This unit drives a whole of government partnership approach building on Aboriginal self-determination. This takes place through strong engagement and collaborative approaches with Aboriginal communities, services, government and sector stakeholders to support the implementation of Dhelk Dja (Safe our Way) - Strong Cultures, Strong Peoples, Strong Families 10 Year Family Violence Agreement; the Royal Commission into Family Violence recommendations and family violence initiatives.

**In addition, the unit will**:

- Lead the design and development of strategies and action plans aligned to Dhelk Dja that deliver against agreed community and government objectives.
- Oversee the establishment of strategic policy projects, program delivery through innovation and partnership, frameworks to coordinate and monitor the implementation of Dhelk Dja actions, Royal Commission recommendations and budget initiatives across government.

The Implementation Manager will support implementation of priority reform initiatives led by Family Safety Victoria. The role has a primary focus on implementation of Aboriginal Access Points as a complementary service model to The Orange Door. The position provides leadership and project management expertise to support successful delivery of projects that support reform objectives.
Reporting to the Manager, Implementation, Planning and Infrastructure, the position will be responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting across area based implementation projects. The role will also establish and support local governance arrangements and monitor and respond to risks and issues at the area level across the portfolio/s of responsibility. The role will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of projects.
