Fresh Start is a not-for-profit day hospital based in Subiaco. Fresh Start concentrates on detox and developing a drug-free lifestyle. Through their unique and comprehensive approach to drug and alcohol treatment, they have helped over 12,000 people and their families out of the vicious cycle of addiction.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As an effective and enthusiastic Fundraising, Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will deliver the organisation’s fundraising, events, and communication programmes and coordinate internal events.
- **Main duties**:_
- Understand, communicate and commit to the organisation’s vision, goals and strategies
- Take ownership of the deliveries of Fresh Start Recovery Programmes internal and external events
- Follow instructions from the CEO & Medical Director and support other Fresh Start team members as required
- Assist in maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety
- **FUNDRAISING**:_
- Provide fundraising support across Fresh Start Recovery Programme (FSRP), focusing on the donor journey (cash donation, sponsorship, etc.)
- Coordinate donation processing and receipting, including an online system
- Support growth in annual fundraising amount via various funnels (sponsorship, cash donations and donations in kind)
- Work collaboratively with peers to ensure fundraising campaigns are optimised
- Be responsible for proactive internal and external communications & community engagement and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Support the CEO and Accountant with yearly budget planning
- Research, manage & explore potential new funding opportunities in developing the community fundraising base
- **MARKETING & EVENT MANAGEMENT**:_
- Work collaboratively with external consultants to create and deliver effective communications for news articles for media, including TV, radio, press and social media, and events promotion
- Manage websites and design, develop & produce content for websites and maintain the social media profiles to date
- Manage and develop digital communications, including website, e-newsletters, eNews/EDMs and post engaging content
- Develop the analysis & reporting tools for tracking the traffic and engagement on social media/websites monthly
- Work with SEO advertiser and Website Manager to create a pipeline of social content and ensure correct responses to online enquiries are made in a timely manner
- Ensure the marketing calendar for the financial year is planned and approved & ensure all the planned activities are executed
- Develop marketing campaigns and liaise with external vendors for events and campaigns
- Coordinate the production of Fresh Start's print publications and information services (creating, updating and editing content), including signage
- Attend corporate partnership meetings to engage and renew partnerships
- Manage marketing, event and media budgets, financials and reconciliations with P&L
- **KPI**:_
- Achieve donor and event funding revenue goals
- Increase internal and external engagement
- Appropriately manage event budget as allocated
- Increase visibility on various platforms
- Develop and improve publications presentation/style guide/imaging

**Ideal Skills**
- **Have**:_
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or related discipline
- At least +3/5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in marketing, event management, & fundraising campaign
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to cope with competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in managing social media channels and digital marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience with donor databases or CRMs, MailChimp, WordPress or similar
- Proven experience in SEO, Google Analytics, and understanding the algorithms
- High level of attention to detail, flexibility, time management and accuracy
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a high level of computer literacy
