Ministerial Liaison Officer to temporarily assist until the end of August, with the potential of extension

**Your new company**
Contracting team are seeking labour hire in the position of Ministerial Liaison Officer to temporarily assist until the end of August, with the potential of extension.

**Your new role**
As an experienced Ministerial Liaison Officer your daily duties will include but won’t be limited to:

- Supporting the Manager and Senior Ministerial Officer
- Assists with coordinating the preparation of ministerial advice
- Contributes to the preparation of Ministerial correspondence, speeches, submissions, and briefings
- Coordinates training and education for all users
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of office systems and procedures to support the timely preparation and delivery of Ministerial advice
- Contributes to positive and productive relationships with stakeholders within the Department
- Contributes knowledge and experience to the Department, sector forums, seminars and professional development activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience and skills required
- Demonstrate knowledge of Human Services policy across one or more of the following: Child Protection, Housing, Disability Services, Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, Women’s Interests, Youth, Veterans Issues, Volunteering, Seniors and/or Community Services
- Well-developed written communication skills with an ability to draft and review complex documents.
- Demonstrate understanding of the intention, challenges and risks facing a WA Government Agency
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
- High level interpersonal and negotiation skills
