Job Description:

- Setup and manage Project, Program, Portfolio Management processes for successful delivery
- Setup and run project, program and portfolio governance forums with internal, customer and vendor stakeholders
- Direct, manage strategic projects as delegated by the Delivery Head, Customer Portfolio Head or Senior Stakeholders
- Lead the strategy, direct and plan to ensure outcomes to meet business needs and expectations
- Lead the program, project pipeline prioritization process with stakeholders
- Lead and accountable for RFPs/RFQs, proposal, SOR/SoW in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor, quality assure, evaluate and report on the health of the project, program and portfolio
- Resolve risks and manage timely manner to maintain positive project and portfolio performance
- Regularly review, ascertain milestones and assess the achievement of the objectives contained within triple constraints
- Ensure portfolio management best practices are adopted
- Coach and support Programme and Project Teams to understand project management accountabilities and responsibilities,
- Ensure Project Teams develop and maintain all project management documentation and on-going administration involved in delivering a project, at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Make complex judgements, decisions, and provide recommendations to address barriers to a projects success
- Quickly and accurately identify significant issues and risks to the management of individual projects and communicate the business implications to key stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Direct and coordinate with Delivery Management, Project Management Office (PMO) and other functions.
- Ensure profitable delivery of the portfolio
- Lead the development and review of project governance policies, procedures, processes, tools, resources, and their implementation
- Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, standards and practices
- Other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by the reporting manage
- Builds strong client relationships and delivers client-centric solutions
- Seeks ways to improve outcomes for meeting clients Vision and Values
- Gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Interacts with all stakeholders in ways that demonstrate respect of social and cultural differences, and a commitment to challenging attendant social inequities

Qualification and Experience:

- Graduate /Post Graduate in IT, Project Management and related files
- Project Management Professional or other certifications such PMP, Prince2 or Agile Certificaiton
- Understanding of project management frameworks and principles.
- Understanding of change management principles.
- Ability to identify effective project governance frameworks that match organisational need and context.
- A strong track record of managing the delivery of a portfolio of interdependent, and complex projects within specified timeframes and budgets
- Demonstrated capacity to source relevant organisational information to understand future business needs and preempt potential project risks, issues and challenges
- Previous delivery of strategic advice and support to senior management
- Delivery of policy and procedure development, review and implementation

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $150,514.14 - $170,354.96 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
