This Insurance Officer role is a full time permanent role based in Booragul.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to move out of an insurance or call centre style environment into a true internal role where your contribution plays a part in serving a community based organisation.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Produce high-quality reports for the Director Risk & Safety, providing crucial insights on insurance matters within the organisation.
- Serve as a primary contact for our organisation’s insurers and insurance brokers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient handling of inquiries and renewals.
- Maintain comprehensive records of insurance policies and certificates, ensuring easy access to vital information.
- Play a key role in facilitating the annual insurance renewal process by efficiently managing and providing necessary insurance data.
- Coordinate claims submission and management with insurers and brokers, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
- Oversee insurance projects in collaboration with stakeholders, aiming to enhance the organisations overall insured position and risk management strategies.

**Essentially you’ll have**:

- Experience working in a fast-paced insurance environment.
- Skilled in insurance negotiations, claims management, and fostering relationships with insurers and brokers.
- Proficient in reporting, including data collection and analysis.
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures, and systems.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results efficiently.
