We’ve made great progress over the last two years in our organisational development journey and are now looking for an experienced solutions-focused leader to spearhead the next phase delivering practical and effective solutions as we continue to mature our business and grow in the Australian market.

We have an ambitious growth strategy, a wide variety of local and international stakeholders, and teams working in a range of locations and patterns. So your ability to build relationships throughout the organisation, adopting and adapting existing global resources as well as creating some of our own will be key.

There are a number of focus areas:

- Leadership development
- Professionalisation and development frameworks for functional/technical capabilities
- Talent development and succession planning
- Workforce Planning frameworks and strategies
- Early career programs such as internships and graduate programs
- Leveraging defence industry development programs
- Oversight, development and promotion of the Northrop Grumman learning platforms as the key learning enabler for NGA

To succeed, you’ll need plenty of experience working within high performing HR teams in large multinational/corporate environments. A track record delivering scalable, effective and practical solutions across multiple sites and role types will be essential. Defence sector experience would be ideal.

- Tertiary qualifications in such fields as Organisational Learning, Education, Strategic HR
- Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance
- Experience operating within a large enterprise/multi-disciplinary organisation
- A track record of delivering time bound organisational capability/development initiatives
- Experience in workforce planning methodologies to support new business and growth
- A collaborative and consultative style with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

**Optional Experience**:

- Knowledge of Defence Capability framework
- Experience leading teams
