Sales Assistant

We are looking for a team member to start off on a casual basis and move into a Full-Time role after gaining experience in the role. Ideally, you have a passion for sport and are looking to make a career out of retail.
**About us**:
A well known and established sports store in the heart of the city specialising in licensed apparel for local and international sports and leagues.
**About the job**:
A retail sales assistant would mainly serve customers in-store and over the phone. The position needs **excellent spoken English** as well as some exposure to sports. Most importantly we are seeking someone who is punctual, enthusiastic, responsible and dependable.
The position requires standing up for long hours, climbing stairs, carrying boxes and other physical activities.
The location of the position is Sydney CBD close to Town Hall station.
We are open from 9 am-10am to 6pm-7pm most days.
Pay, leave and other benefits are based on the industry award.
**Requirements**:
Experienced in retail, preferably clothing, department stores, big brands or similar.
Reliable, responsible and committed to the job.
**Notes**:
There will be a phone interview followed by an in-person interview.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 24-38 per week
**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
