**The Opportunity: Area Manager**
- **Schedule**: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
- **Location**:Logan/Ipswich/Redbank Plains/Woolloongabba
- **Hours**: 38 hours with flexibility
- **Compensation**: Well above award + super + salary package

We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team of professionals in the position of Area Manager. In this position you will be responsible for providing support and advice to 8 Child Care Centres through regular visits and discussions with staff and centre Directors. Your typical work day will commence from your home and travel as directed to centres located in South East Queensland.

Your duties in this role will include, but not be limited to:

- Travelling/Visiting the company's Long Day Care centres across South East Queensland to provide support and advice as directed.
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed by employees of the organization.
- Reporting on centre performance and outcome of visits.
- Creating and conducting professional development training to staff of the organization.
- Temporary assignment as a centre Director in rare cases where transition periods between employees may arise
- Be able to work flexible hours

**Must haves**
The successful applicant MUST have strong leadership skills, vision, attention to detail and be able to meet the following criteria;
- **Have experience working as a Centre Director**:

- Have a strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Have a calm, can do attitude
- Be open minded
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Have a strong belief in ongoing training and development of others
- Hold a minimum of Diploma of Children's Services
- Hold a current blue card
- Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
- **Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care**
