As the Area Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality and effective services across multiple sites within the Southern region, whilst ensuring the achievement of organisational and customer-focused outcomes. With a focus on performance, you will lead, coach and support frontline staff to meet and exceed performance targets, including driving continuous improvement and ongoing development within your team.
With a passion for promoting awareness and inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace, you will advocate and provide education on employment barriers our customers face, while developing and nurturing broad stakeholder relationships to enhance service delivery. At times, the Area Manager will be involved in practical and hands on training with staff, customers and employers.

- Lead, manage, mentor and provide guidance to the frontline delivery team across multiple sites, ensuring service levels and performance remain optimal
- Operate within established budget and drive income and profitability through quality service delivery
- Ensure team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations are consistently met and exceeded.
- Advocate for Customers to ensure their rights are protected and their voices are heard in matters relating to employment services
- Provide direct support and/or case conferencing for all frontline staff to maximise results
- Manage the delivery of services ensuring alignment with the National Service Delivery Model, contractual obligations and the National Disability Services Standards
- Analyse data and reports to drive business performance
- Manage and support staff development and professional growth
- Recruit new staff and manage individual and team performance
- Manage and report on customer progression and capacity building, placements and outcomes ensuring performance gaps are addressed
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance service delivery
- Build employer confidence in hiring people with disabilities, including through the delivery of regular Employer Confidence workshops/webinars
- Drive outstanding stakeholder experience, ensuring customers, employers and other stakeholders receive high-quality and consistent services and support
- Lead, host and participate in direct local marketing and events/forums with employers and community stakeholders to promote Maxima's purpose and services
What will you need to succeed?
You will have exceptional leadership and relationship building skills, and the ability to think strategically and motivate teams across a number of sites. You will also have;

- Relevant State/Territory Drivers Licence (essential)
- A current National Criminal History Record Check (Police Clearance), Working with Children Check
