Services-based organisation is looking to add a talented and motivated Bid Tender Writer to the team. With a true hybrid working model and working under guidance of a talented and supportive Manager, you will assist in managing the strategic initiative for the coordination of writing Bids & Tenders from end to end to ultimately win business.

**The Role**:
To provide support to the GM to ensure the strategic initiatives within the business are planned and accomplished. Ensuring this person has a commercial understanding of the business.
- Providing information and insights on to ensure business decisions are strategic and as a result of examining previous business patterns
- Project management of bids and grants
- You will work closely with the GM to ensure the success of the bid
- Monitor and track tenders
- Tender writing
- Accurately record all tenders
- Evaluating the operational performance of the company and make suggestions for it's improvement
- Conduct research on market competitors and industry trends
- Ability to prioritise
- Maintain a high level of confidence and step into a leadership role if necessary

**About you**:

- Ability to understand and interpret business plans
- Advanced communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proven negotiating skills
- High level of confidentiality
- Commercial acumen
- Proven ability with financial information including P&L statements
- Advanced computer literacy inclusive of Excel and Word
- Critical, lateral thinker
