Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.

Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

**Early Childhood Educator - Diploma (Kindergarten)**
**Hourly Rate**:$30.58 to $32.05 (rate dependent on level of experience)

**Closing**:Friday 13 June 2025

**Part Time**(10 hrs p/w) **- Permanent**

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Early Years team are seeking Diploma qualified educators to work as additional educators in our kindergarten programs.

At Colliver Road Kindergarten in South Shepparton, we’ve created a magical outdoor haven that fosters exploration, creativity, and play. This ever-evolving space reflects our dedication to crafting rich, engaging environments where children can thrive. The days of work are currently Monday and Thursday 9-2pm
- Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (working Towards considered); or equivalent
- Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- Current CPR - HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
- Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
