Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.

Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

**Early Childhood Educator - Diploma**

**Salary**:$73,089.64 per annum pro rata

**Closing**:Friday 8 August 2025

**Part Time**(8 hrs p/w) **- Temporary**(To 20 December 2025)

Nancy Vibert Children’s Centre is seeking a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator that is passionate about Early Childhood education and care to join our team. The temporary position is for an 8 hour shift every Monday, rotating open and close shift.

Nancy Vibert Children’s Centre offers a smaller service which focuses on providing a family environment where our older children nurture and teach the younger children through positive play interactions.

We have adopted the primary care approach within our service as we understand the importance of children forming secure attachments and value developing strong relationships that encourage and support family involvement throughout our program.

Our service operates from 7.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. If you are enthusiastic, enjoy working with children and adults and are willing to work with the team to provide an inclusive environment that supports the community, then please apply.

Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or evidence of active working towards status
- Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- Current CPR - HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
- Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
