**About your new role**:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our Essence Hotels & Apartments team in this full-time permanent role. This is a hands-on role, overseeing the management of two properties - Essence Chermside Apartments and Essence Suites Taringa.

As the General Manager you will be responsible for optimising net operating income, achieving an exceptional residential experience and attainment of all set objectives. To achieve this, you will run the property in accordance with the policies and procedures as set out by the company. You will provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the property team as it strives to provide the highest quality in standards and services. In addition, this individual acts as the main liaison between the client and team.

Your role is key to verifying that the objectives and goals of Essence and property owners work together to achieve brand positioning and success. You are expected to build owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering exceptional business results. This role represents the Essence Hotels and Apartments brand values in all leadership actions.

**About You**:
This position requires an individual with true commercial acumen. You will be experienced in senior operations management and leadership or something similar, ideally within the accommodation or hospitality industries. You will be a strong leader who is focused on high level service delivery and has a vision and passion for delivering outstanding experiences for our guest and visitors.

**Qualifications**
- Valid National Police Check
- Hold or willing to acquire a valid and current Registration Certificate lodged with the Office of Fair-Trading QLD.
