**The Opportunity**
Distribution, BlueScope Australia is looking for a **NSW State Supply Chain Manager**to join the team**based in **Granville, or Marsden Park Sydney**. The Distribution business includes Orrcon Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.
As a key member of the Distribution National Supply Chain and New South Wales leadership teams, you will take responsibility for the NSW Supply Chain including supply planning and execution, inventory management and business improvement while ensuring our customers remain at the forefront of everything we do.

**What Will You Do?**
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, while managing a small team of supply chain professionals, you will focus on:
- ** inventory management -**optimise inventory and stock levels to enhance customer experience through effective materials planning and production scheduling
- ** supply planning and forecasting -** plan supply over the short to mid-term to ensure stock replenishment activities meet our customer and market needs
- ** supply chain optimisation -** leverage technology platforms to enhance supply chain operations and the experience for our people and customers
- ** governance -**mitigate risk by following and promoting our ethical and sustainability standards

As an experienced Supply Chain professional and an inspiring leader, you will bring:
- proven ability to operate in multi-faceted Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing or Logistics environment
- demonstrated experience in developing effective supply chain solutions and strategies
- superior influencing, negotiation and communication skills
- ability to lead, engage and develop a high-performance organisational culture
- a strong customer service focus and ability to translate key customer requirements into improved product and service offerings
- a passion for improving process efficiency reducing admin burden and improving outcomes through technology solutions
