**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Telecommunications Technical Officer is responsible for planning and supporting telecommunications network infrastructure for warehouse industrial automation, including technical advice, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, system integration, and vendor coordination.

**Area of responsibilities**:

- Plan and develop telecommunications network infrastructure for warehouse automation.
- Provide technical advice and monitor performance of telecommunications networks and equipment in parcel conveyor and sorter systems.
- Support ongoing operations by designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing network performance issues.
- Assist in configuring and integrating telecommunications technology into warehouse control and management systems.
- Install, maintain, and diagnose issues in radio and electromagnetic communication systems, including wireless access points and optical fibers.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers while monitoring contractual obligations and performance.

**About You**:

- Qualifications in telecommunications network engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in telecommunications network design, installation, and maintenance.
- Previous experience working in the supply chain industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in network protocols, telecommunications equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with vendors and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Understanding of warehouse management systems and industrial automation technologies.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
