**Key responsibilities management of the FPS business solutions**:

- **Continuous improvement**: Leverage existing and future platform functionality to deliver meaningful transformation.
- **Strategic solutions**: Robust end to end solutions, aligned to strategic architecture and data governance principles, whilst still meeting business objectives.
- **Collaborate with COG Tech and vendors**: Develop and deliver core product changes to enhance user experience and provide new functional capability.

**Responsibilities**:
**Business solutions**
- Engagement with Business/ Finance stakeholders to identify technology related opportunities for improvement specific to our finance platforms
- Deep technical understanding of Fusion ERP & EPM module capabilities and connectivity with supporting technology to deliver meaningful change
- Lobbying Oracle Product for enhancements and identifying opportunities in future product releases
- Work with COG-Tech and external vendors (e.g. Deloitte, Oracle) in developing and implementing appropriate business solutions and scalable change initiatives
- Partner with sponsors and connected FPS delivery teams to meet requirements of the finance teams
- Manage cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the group

**People & Stakeholder Management**
- Mobilise and/or recruit the team resources
- Provide highly engaging & effective leadership to the team
- Promote excellence through the attraction, continual development & retention of a high-quality team with the knowledge and skills to deliver excellent outcomes and service
- Ensure timely and accurate communication to identified stakeholders

**Essential Requirements**:
The Business Solution Team Senior Manager is a senior role and requires;
- An engaging people manager, who can lead team through period of ambiguity and communicate and resolve complex issues in a straightforward manner
- Financial Services background preferred, with a familiarity of the regulatory and statutory landscape that frames many of our financial deliverables.
- Proven experience in working with major finance package technology vendors (e.g., Oracle and SAP)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Business, IT, Risk, Finance, Vendor Management, and Legal stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate, own and deliver multiple assignments
- Natural promoter to change and improve platform based outcomes
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technology concepts in non-technical terms
- Highly motivated problem solver
- Ability to work independently however identifies/escalates risks/issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
