**THE ROLE**

**This is a unique opportunity to be part of Origin’s Integrated Gas business in the role of Gas Portfolio Analyst. You will be responsible for managing Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) gas portfolio including LNG feed. The successful applicant will provide market insight and direction to the business on how to optimise commercial opportunities in line with contractual requirements.**

**MORE ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Seeking opportunities to maximise the value of the APLNG portfolio by maintaining strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
- Driving the daily optimisation of the APLNG portfolio through negotiating short term transactions
- Monitoring price, demand, weather and gas flows in the assigned gas market and devise strategic responses in close consultation with management and relevant team members
- Managing and executing daily nominations of gas quantities and analyse nomination output files
- Short to medium term portfolio balancing
- Providing input to contract creation, gas nominations and process update
- Preparing reports and providing insights on market trends and operations

- Prepared to work on a shift roster that can require availability at all hours of the day
- The capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment on assessment of all available information and variables
- Strong strategic planning skills and the ability to communicate rationally and to implement solutions that serve to optimise your portfolio
- Advanced excel, VBA and Power BI data visualisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as collaborate effectively across the APLNG business and with relevant external parties
- Previous experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Commerce or Economics is preferred
