**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**:
**_ Our relief team members will be allocated shifts at multiple Post Offices within a geographical location, a willingness to work at multiple locations with a variety of start and finish times across our operational hours of Monday - Friday is a requirement of this position._**
- Relief locations include: Balaclava, Brighton, Brighton North, Caulfield South, Elsternwick, Port Melbourne, Port Melbourne Business Hub, South Melbourne and South Melbourne market Street Business Centre
- 12 Months Fixed Term | Part Time 15 hours per week
- Working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between 8:45am - 5:15pm
- Extensive, supportive training is provided on commencement in the role
- Adult Pay Rate $26.00 increases to $27.80 after 3 months + 12% Superannuation

**You’ll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you**

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
