About the opportunity
As our Retail Postage Sorter, you'll play an important role in keeping millions of Australians connected. Our mail sorting teams ensure every delivery gets where it needs to, handling the high volume of mail passing through our Post Offices and delivery facilities daily.
You'll be
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.
Role Details
- Permanent Part-Time position working 15 hours per week
- Shift times: 6.30am - 9.30am, Monday to Friday
- Supportive training provided at the start of the role at the Post Office
- Pay Rate: $27.04 per hour, increasing to $28.91 per hour after 3 months + 12% Superannuation
About you
- You're friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy working both in a team and independently.
- You're motivated by making a positive difference in your community.
- You have good memory and hand-eye coordination for sorting tasks.
- You are physically fit to lift up to 16kg of mail regularly and stand during your shift.
