Australian Red Cross has a network of over 180 Red Cross Shops through which we raise funds to support those in need.

Each year, we rescue 450 tonnes of clothing from landfill, engage 5,000 volunteers, and generate funds to support vulnerable people in Australia and worldwide.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Merchandise Sorters to join our Distribution Centre team, grading, categorising, and packing donated and new clothing and accessories. If you love fashion and retail, this could be your ideal role

What you will bring
  • Experience in retail, merchandise sorting, or similar roles
  • Knowledge of Australian fashion brands, preferably from retail experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess merchandise quality quickly
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Interest in supporting the humanitarian mission of Australian Red Cross

This role is covered by the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020 - Level 2. Salary from $51,000.56 FTE + superannuation + salary packaging access.
