Within the Infrastructure Delivery Division, the Building Projects Directorate provides expert advisory, project management and procurement services to support State Government agencies in delivering critical social infrastructure projects.

**The Opportunity**
Join us as a Procurement Advisor in our Building Projects team and play a key role in delivering social infrastructure projects that make a real impact across public services and communities throughout South Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise, working across a diverse range of projects and innovative procurement and contracting strategies.

You’ll provide expert advice, tackle complex challenges, and design and lead effective procurement processes from acquisition planning to contract award. Working closely with stakeholders and project teams, you’ll help drive smart solutions and successful outcomes that shape South Australia’s built environment.

**About you**
Key skills and experience we’re looking for include:

- You have proven experience in procurement advisory roles, ideally within social infrastructure or public sector projects.
- Proven experience in delivering end-to-end procurement processes, including contract formation.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- You are a strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- You have strong communication skills and are confident managing multiple stakeholders while building and maintaining effective relationships.
- You possess well-developed report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Educational Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline to facilitate commercially aware procurement processes is desirable.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to (2) two years.

**Remuneration**
ASO5 - $85,790 to $95,413 pa + superannuation
