**Description**:
This exciting role is based in Melbourne with one of Australia’s leading poultry manufacturers.
The primary responsibility of the Compliance Coordinator will see you assisting production in achieving optimal food safety and quality effectiveness.
There will be responsibility for the supervision, maintenance, and strict compliance to the quality and environmental management system, Workplace Health, Safety, and Security Management including HACCP and documentation control.
As the Compliance Coordinator, this position will see you assisting in all audits on-site and the responsibility to follow up on any Corrective Action Requests, supplier non-conformances, and customer complaints.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to work in a team environment to resolve problems or improve systems
- Background in poultry processing
- Prior knowledge of ISO 9001: 2000, HACCP, WHS and Environmental systems in the workplace
- Structured training in computer-based project management, database and spreadsheet use
- Structured training in Computer database and spreadsheet use
- Good meeting management skills
- “Train the Trainer” training or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Experience dealing with customer complaints with experience in conflict resolution
- Experience in dealing with workplace incidents and injuries, with regulators, and in conflict resolution
- Experience in conducting safety and environmental inspections

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in food science or relevant industry experience
- HACCP Qualifications
- Current state driver's licence and excellent driving record
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
