**About the role and team**

This fast-paced role sits within a team of ten Operators and three Team Leaders. You'll provide control room monitoring and call centre duties to assist with our client's statewide security needs, ensuring that you are adhering to KPIs. Communication skills are essential in the role, as most of your day will be spent on the phone as part of the security help desk function, speaking to our client's staff, with people at all levels of their organisation.

This role operates on a continuous 24/7 rotational roster spanning 16 weeks. The roster incorporates a combination of day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts. Shifts vary in length, including 12-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour durations. A typical pattern involves a fortnight of night shifts followed by a fortnight of day shifts. While longer shifts are common, with several consecutive days off, the average working week is 38 hours.

In the role you will:

- Assist with the telephone call centre helpdesk function for our corporate client's internal security phone lines and emergency line
- Remote incident response and coordination, for instance, liaising with internal and external staff regarding security matters, including emergency calls to triple zero
- Security service bookings and dispatch of guards, roving patrol teams, and technicians, as well as coordinating with our client's contractors
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports in our client's database
- Monitor CCTV and alarms, and use building management systems Use standard computer systems such as the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Microsoft Word.
- **What we're looking for**

We are seeking highly communicative security professionals, with a strong ability to assist quickly and under pressure, to join our 24/7 Security Operations Centre team. You will possess:

- Victorian Security Licence with Monitoring Centre experience
- Certificate II or III in Security Operations
- Adaptability to a rotating roster with varying shift lengths, including days, nights, and weekends
- Proven Experience in a security or customer service environment, with familiarity with CCTV and building management systems being highly regarded
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate incident reporting and database management
